Back on track (bokstavligt talat)
So... I'm back on track, then?

Ya zdes' (I'm here) - Kipelov
So endless is the sea's surface,
As is my loneliness.
I can't escape myself here,
And I can't hide in the sweet dreams.
This life has no new shores,
And the wind is tearing the remains of sails...
I touched your dreams,
And the moment wasn't too sweet.
Like sand, between my fingers slides
The world that was open only for the two of us.
We walked towards each other,
Faster and faster,
And walked through, not recognizing one another...
I'm here, where light and peace freezes
I'm here again, I hear your name
From the eternity, a forgotten voice flies
To call from the night skies as the cold fire.
I thought that time would erease your trace
And didn't catch your sight in the crowd
I sought the answer in others' hands,
And didnt search for the way back.
Forgetting everything,
I started my life anew,
But I saw how empty was the sea's surface...
Rysk metal!
Här är låttexten, översatt till engelska:
There is silence above me,
A sky full of rain,
The rain goes straight through me,
But there's no more pain.
While stars whispered coldly
We burned our final bridge.
And everything has tumbled into the abyss
I shall be free
From evil and good,
My soul's been walking the razor's edge.
I could've been with you,
I could've forgotten all,
I could've loved you,
But it's all just a game.
In the wind's noise behind my back
I'll forget your voice
And forget all that earthly love
That burned both of us to ashes,
And I've been losing my mind...
My soul no longer holds a place for you.
I'm free! Like a bird in the heavens.
I'm free! I've forgotten the meaning of fear.
I'm free! I am the wild wind's equal.
I'm free! In the real world, not in a dream.
There is silence above me,
The sky full of fire,
The light goes straight through me,
But I'm free once again,
Free from love,
Free from hate and from rumour,
From a fate foretold in advance
And from the shackles of earth,
From evil and from good.
My soul no longer holds a place for you.
I'm free! Like a bird in the heavens.
I'm free! I've forgotten the meaning of fear.
I'm free! I am the wild wind's equal.
I'm free! In the real world, not in a dream.
Wow. Min själ finns i den här sången. Underbar.
My heart is a fluttering bird in a cage of ribs
My eyes are dimming
And my head is spinning spinning spinning
And now: onwards to the Land of Sleep! (I wish. Jag har faktiskt jobb att göra...)
That's my soul up there
It's the same old thing as yesterday
There's a black hat caught in a high tree top
There's a flag pole rag and the wind won't stop
I have stood here before inside the pouring rain
With the world turning circles running 'round my brain
I guees I'm always hoping that you'll end this reign
But it's my destiny to be the King of Pain
There's a fossil that's trapped in a high cliff wall (that's my soul up there)
There's a dead salmon frozen in a waterfall (that's my soul up there)
There's a blue whale beached by a springtide's ebb (that's my soul up there)
There's a butterfly caught in a spider's web
I have stood here before inside the pouring rain
With the world turning circles running 'round my brain
I guess I'm always hoping that you'll end this reign
But it's my destiny to be the King of Pain
There's a king on a throne with his eyes torn out
There's a blind man looking for a shadow of doubt
There's a rich man sleeping on a golden bed
There's a skeleton choking on a crust of bread
There's a red fox torn by a huntsman's pack
There's a black-winged gull with a broken back
There's a little black spot on the sun today
It's the same old thing as yesterday
I have stood here before inside the pouring rain
With the world turning circles running 'round my brain
I guess I'm always hoping that you'll end this reign
But it's my destiny to be the Queen of Pain
Queen of Pain
I'll always be Queen of Pain
I'll always be Queen of Pain...
There is a reason I know this song by heart. Is it my destiny to be the Queen of Pain?

Makulera
- Makulera!
Kapten, vi är under anfall!
- Trupper, förbered för makulation!
Din förbaskade skitstövel!
*makulerar vederbörande*
Saliga äro de makulerade, ty de skola finna frid.
Varför är vi här, egentligen?
- För att makuleras!
MAKULERA ALLT!
Works every time.
Turning time right
Time flies faster than pigs with wings.
Be it good or bad.
"Have you even been in love? Horrible, isn't it? It makes you so vulnerable. It opens your chest and it opens your heart and it means someone can get inside you and mess you up. You build up all these defenses. You build up this whole armor, for years, so nothing can hurt you, then one stupid person, no different from any other stupid person, wanders into your stupid life...
You give them a piece of you. They don't ask for it. They do something dumb one day like kiss you, or smile at you, and then your life isn't your own anymore. Love takes hostages. It gets inside you. It eats you out and leaves you crying in the darkness, so a simple phrase like "maybe we should just be friends" or "how very perceptive" turns into a glass splinter working its way into your heart. It hurts. Not just in the imagination. Not just in the mind. It's a soul-hurt, a body-hurt, a real gets-inside-you-and-rips-you-apart pain. I hate love."

True words. Farewell, old year. Welcome, new one.
